Important Notice from St Werburgh Medical Practice Posted or Updated on 19 Oct 2017

We have been made aware from various sources that patients’ and the local media  are receiving information from a third party stating that the practice will be closing on 27th November 2017. 

St Werburgh Medical Practice wishes to make it very clear that this is not the case.

The practice is and will continue to practice as normal and has not had any discussion with any third party with regard to closing the surgery. 

Please be assured that the practice is and will continue to provide General Medical Services to its patients from each of our three surgery sites.

We are very concerned about the nature of the comments and/or statements being made by these third parties and disappointed that those involved are choosing to cause unnecessary upset to the local population registered with the surgery.  The practice is working very closely with Medway Clinical Commissioning Group to allay patient concerns in a constructive manner.
