Dr Hari has over 15 years of general practice experience. She has an interest Children & Young Peoples’ health and is the children’s lead for West Kent CCG. She is an appraiser and a LMC chair in London. She has previously worked as an Associate Medical Director at NHS England, and brings a wealth of experience with her.

Dr Uppal qualified from St Georges Hospital Medical School in 2005. He has worked in a variety of GP roles ranging from Locum, Salaried and Partner. He has experience in both in the NHS and Private Sector. He has a specialist interest in Musculo-Skeletal conditions and experienced in providing Joint Injections and performing Minor Surgery.

The receptionists have the difficult job of keeping the practice running smoothly. They are here to welcome you and help with any administrative or non-medical aspect of your health treatment. The receptionists are fully trained and are caring and competent. They are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors.
NB: Please do not forget to book in at reception when you arrive for your appointment – the receptionists may not have seen you come in and you may be delayed if you do not book in.

We have very highly qualified nurses who are trained to carry out extensive tests and procedures. They also work with the doctors running various health clinics. You can also see one of the nurses with an appointment for other services – travel immunisations, cervical smears, ear syringing, dietary advice, blood pressure checks etc. Please contact reception to make an appointment.
The district nurses are independent practitioners who are responsible for assessing health needs, implementing and evaluating care and promoting health education to patients who are housebound.
Our health visitors are fully trained nurses who have special training in child health and health education. They are based at the Keystone Centre, Gun Lane, Strood. Telephone: 01634 717755. For Gillingham patients they are based at Balmoral Gardens Community Healthy Living
